Feed Grade Potassium Carbonate
Research indicates nearly all cows, especially those in early or peak lactation, are potassium deficient. DCAD Plus provides what forage alone can’t, the necessary amount of potassium—without counterproductive chlorides—to buffer the blood and to achieve the recommended DCAD level of +35 to +45 meq/100g ration dry matter in high-producing cows.
New research proves increasing DCAD levels postpartum:
- Significantly increases DMI
- Boosts fat-corrected milk
- Improves component production
Recent research concluded cows fed DCAD Plus:
- Increased fat production by .35 percentage points
- Showed milk production improvements of 3.3 lbs., and fat-corrected milk improvement of 8.58 lbs.
